8040 Excelsior Drive - Madison, WI

This modern 3-story office building utilized nearly 18,000 square feet of Alucobond Aluminum Composite Material (ACM). Panel system is pressure equalized - rain screen system. Designers also incorporated ACM panels at the interior lobby to form a unique transition from exterior to interior of building.

Acura - Brookfield, WI

Acura is updating their car dealership with a new exterior design which uses Sobotec's pressure equalized rain screen product for the composite material. The first project in the USA was recently completed. The new look as a 26' x 12' tapered ICON in the center of the exterior entrance and canopies extending out from both sides. These areas have a dry side joint which provides a crisp clean appearance. Tyvek was used as an air barrier over 1/2" plywood. EIFS bands were introduced above the canopy where a wet seal was used to join the two systems.

Aurora Burlington - Burlington

Ballweg Chevrolet - Middleton, WI

The new Ballweg Chevrolet Dealership was the first in the nation to be completed with the new Chevrolet exterior image. The exterior features three separate colors of Aluminum Composite to achieve a visually appealing building entrance.

Covance Laboratories - Madison, WI

The Covance Laboratories addition used a combination of aluminum composite and corrugated metal. One of the key requirements included constructing a system where exterior sealant was not used - but the panel system was still curved. Strang Architects recently completed the Novagen project where APW used Sobotec's SL-2000 for the canopies and fascias. Strang again used this product for the curved canopies and curved ellipse that slopes from South to North on the top of the building. The vertical columns in the precast portion of the building are wrapped with curved composite panels. Horizontal corrugated panels were used on the screen throughout the project in conjunction with the composite panels.

Heart Hospital - Milwaukee, WI

The Heart Hospital incorporates a large amount of Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) Panels into almost all areas of the exterior building enclosure. The columns, radius canopy and soffit, as well as the circular fascia and soffit above the curtainwall all received ACM panels. This wet-seal system features a ½" standard caulked joint.

Hyundai Dealership - Appleton, WI

This Hyundai Dealership features large custom-color Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) panels at the brand icon tower. 90-degree corners and returns at parapet, base and jambs create a professional seamless appearance to the icon tower. Panels were attached through Dens Glass directly to the metal studs.

Mark Toyota - Scion Dealership - Plover, WI

This state-of-the-art, newly designed Toyota - Scion Dealership in features a Reynobond Aluminum Composite Panel System across the entire front of the facility. The custom designed panel system features three different color ACM’s to accent feature the buildings overall layout and design.

Marshfield Clinic Ambulatory Center - Marshfield, WI

The Marshfield Clinic Ambulatory Center features Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) as both an exterior cladding and interior feature material. On the outside, ACM panels were used on the canopy and fascias as well as the half-round building columns. In the interior, both half and full round floor to ceiling columns received similar colored column covers.

Mercy Medical Center - Oshkosh, WI

Mercy Medical used a combination of aluminum composite and foam core wall panels. The foam core panels were used at the mechanical penthouses and the ambulance garage. These areas took advantage of the insulating core and the prefinished interior skin. All of the remaining areas used aluminum composite instead of an air barrier and insulated wall substrate. The joints on the foam core panels were dry and used a concealed gasket at the horizontal joints and an exposed gasket at the vertical joints. All of the aluminum composite panel joints were sealed with exposed silicone.

Mitsubishi Dealership - Appleton, WI

This newly designed Mitsubishi Dealership uses over-sized Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) panels to enhance the dealership image. The panels feature both 90 degree and custom angles and are fastened directly over Dens Glass. The system is a Pressure Equalized Rain Screen using no caulks or sealants.

Nolen Shore Condominiums and Townhouses - Madison, WI

This residential condominium project on Madison’s downtown lake front features an Alucobond Shimmering Teal Aluminum Composite Material panel system. System is a pressure equalized - rain screen system. All screen wall and mechanical penthouse panels were custom factory painted to match.

Novagen - Madison, WI

Novagen was designed using EIFS at the main building area with Aluminum Composite at the curved entrance fascia, canopy and soffits. A dry joint, pressure equalized rain screen design was used. Panels were installed over an air barrier.

PNC Bank - Mequon, WI

Panels were used at the sloping fascia, window head, entry soffits and screen wall. Window head panels were to resemble a solid stone panel. Due to the weight, APW preassembled the ACM panel into a beam shape and hung it from the wall without any additional framing.

Porsche Dealership - Appleton, WI

This Porsche dealership features both curved and segmented Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) panels in large panel form to create an unmistakable corporate identity. The project features custom angled bent corner panels; return panels at the roof coping and full soffit coverage and the main building entry. Custom light openings were cut into soffit panels to accommodate special lighting requirements.

Premier Auto Group - Appleton, WI

The Premier Auto Group used Aluminum Composite panels at the entrance for Jaguar and Landrover. Panels required curving and dry joints. The panels are installed over a Tyvek air barrier.

St. Maria Goretti Church - Madison, WI

Reynobond Aluminum Composite Material panel system was custom fabricated to feature both the new entrance and areas above the sanctuary windows.

Tetrionics, Phase II - Madison, WI

Both phases of Tetrionics feature the use of Reynobond Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) and ribbed steel siding by Metecno Morin to create a seamless but contrasting effect between the exterior siding materials.

The Boldt Company - Stevens Point, WI

The Boldt Company moved their Central Wisconsin office from Schofield to Stevens Point. APW was selected to furnish and install aluminum composite panels at the exterior canopies and above the conference room windows. The panel was used in combination with brick and glass. A wet seal joint was selected.

Trek Bicycle Headquarters - Waterloo, WI

This new addition to the Trek Bicycle Headquarters uses a pressure equalized-rain screen Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) panel system. Panel system was designed to function with the sun shade system at all window locations.

U.W. Health Sciences - Madison, WI

The U.W. Health Science Project uses a caulked joint Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) panel system. Panels were used on building walls and the skywalk, at the entry canopies, and as window infills.

Ullsvik Hall - U.W. Platteville - Platteville, WI

Ullsvik Hall at U.W. Platteville utilized large areas of foam core panels with smooth flat finish along with profile siding in matching colors.
